For this idea, simply paint the tray and chip boxes in snowy winter colors. Paint the tray base with handicraft paint in the color berry, and the tray frame in sea green. For a look similar to our decorative example, use the colors orchid, grey and sea green for the chip tins.
Once dry, attach the picture eyelets to the edge of the tray. Glue the colored chip boxes into the tray with hot glue.
Extra tip: Hot glue is sufficient as a fixation for later filling with light gifts such as sweets, necklaces, vouchers etc. If you want a stronger fixation, use VBS Effect Glue. This glue takes a little longer to dry, but then has an extremely strong adhesive effect.
Stick the 3Dadvent numbers-Stickers onto the chip boxes and attach the cotton cord to the eyelets for hanging. Now the advent calendar is ready to be filled: simply open the lids and place small surprises in the tins.
Enjoy the gift-giving experience!
