Various painting cards are arranged on this colour-intensive Stretched Canvas one, which are designed in clear colours in the encaustic basic technique. You glide only with the painting iron over the painting cards and automatically achieve beautiful structures.

Here's how it works:
Cut 9 coloring cards to 10.5 x 10.5 cm.
Cover the work surface with several sheets of newspaper and 2 sheets of kitchen paper on top of it, so that paint residues can be absorbed immediately.
Place the cut painting card on this base.
Apply different colours to the cards, heat the iron to level 1 - 2 and melt the colours one by one on the horizontal plate. The wax should flow like liquid oil.
Then slide the maleisen over the painting card without pressure.
In this way, work in other colours tone on tone and combine them with each other.
Prime the Stretched Canvas black and let it dry.
Polish the 9 encaustic pictures with a soft cloth and distribute them in different heights on the Stretched Canvas . For this, glue 2 painting cards with effect glue on two Painting boards glued on top of each other, 3 painting cards on a small Stretched Canvas, 4 painting cards directly with tape-Ribbon on the large Stretched Canvas.
The pictures should be placed at the same distance from each other and from the edge of the stretcher frame.
