A fir tree does not always have to be classic. with little effort, Acrylic balls and Christmas tree can be turned into a great modern eye-catcher, for example in the entrance area or in the living room
And it's that easy:
Take a priming brush and prime the fir tree with the Hobby Color paint white. Sprinkle some glitter on the still wet paint in a few selected places and let it dry well. You can use our example as a guide.
Now take 3 small, 3 medium and 1 large ball and apply the glitter paste with a Spatula
Take 3 small, 2 medium and 1 large ball and apply the decorative snow here with the Spatula .
Extra tip To emphasize the snow effect more clearly, dab with the stencil brush over the decorative snow, then your balls will look like little snowballs.
After the decorative snow has dried, take a small and a large ball and apply the Hobby Color color in brown on it. The stenciling brush and the nudge technique are also best suited for this.
For the shine, sprinkle some glitter into the still slightly moist paint.
Let everything dry well.
So that you can arrange your balls effortlessly in the tree, lay it flat on the table. Arrange your balls and fix them with a dot of hot glue, as well as the snowflakes that are attached to the outside of the tree. If you place the tree in such a way that the front and back can be seen, snowflakes should be placed on both sides.
You now have the possibility to decorate the remaining balls in the same way and hang them in the window next to the tree with a nylon thread. This gives you a nice, atmospheric picture.
