Who hasn't? Many small things on the desk or the chest of drawers are often in places where they don't really belong and often there is a lot of request. A remedy for this everyday problem is a practical Organizer in the form of a chest of drawers with many practical drawers.
And it is as simple as that:
What material is needed to create the chest of drawers?
For the practical Organizer-chest of drawers you need Decopatch-Paper, Acrylic- paint for priming, Chenille wire, labels and dark stamping ink for the vintage effect
How do you make the chest of drawers?
The chest of drawers must be primed light-coloured. For this purpose Acrylic-Color in white is a good choice. Once the paint is dry, all fronts of the chest of drawers can be covered with Decopatch paper. Use brushes and Decopatch varnish to apply the paint. To get a great vintage look, use different Decopatch papers
For the drawers you can use Chenille wire as a handle for the drawers. The Chenille wire is shortened accordingly and threaded into the drawers as a handle. To fix the Chenille wire , it is screwed together in the inside of the drawer
We used small labels to label the chest of drawers. The practical stickers are stuck onto the drawers and are then fixed with an edding-Marker slightly tightened
The famous vintage effect can be achieved by accentuating the edges with a dark stamp. For this, pull the Ink Pads along the edges and rub it in irregular intervals.
The Organizer does not look great now only , it is also practical!
Extra tip:
For better stability the inside of the drawers are fixed with masking tape on the inside all around and the patch paper is glued on precisely. This makes it easy to close and open the drawers.
