Whether for Thanksgiving or simply as an autumnal splash of color - these instructions will show you how to make your own colorful turkey plugs in just a few steps.
1. plugs prepare
Start by pushing the wooden sticks into the polystyrene balls . If it is difficult, you can pre-drill a hole with a shashlik skewer or similar. It is important that you do not drill all the way through and that the wooden stick sits firmly in the ball. If necessary, fix it in place with some hot glue.
Then cut squares out of jute: approx. 19 x 19 cm for small balls and approx. 25 x 25 cm for larger balls. Place the jute over the polystyrene balls and wrap them up. Secure the whole thing to the wooden stick with jute cord and a ribbon. Make sure that there are as few creases as possible where the face will be later.
