Make cool binoculars for the kids' birthday party with the jungle/safari theme. These are perfect as decorations and can also be used by the children to play with.
This craft idea is also wonderful as an activity for the birthday, with a little help each child can make their own pair of binoculars and then take them home.

Make binoculars

Cut the papers to the size 10 x 13.5 cm. Glue the papers around the cardboard rolls with craft glue.

Measure 1.5 cm from the edge of each cardboard roll and make a hole there with an awl.

Stick a wooden spool between each two rolls with hot glue. In our example, the coils were glued about 3 cm from the top edge.

Cut one piece of macramé cord per binocular, pull one end through each hole and knot them all together.
