Box book:
To start, take the motif straw silks and tear them so that they fit onto the box. Coat the box with varnish and place the straw silks on top. The coat of varnish will hold them in place and prevent them from slipping. Finally, apply another coat of varnish.
You can design the inside of the book box with a poem, for example. In our example, we have cut out a straw silk motif and glued it onto an embossing foil with varnish:
After gluing and once the varnish has dried, the foil is placed with the motif facing down on an embossing mat or a similarly soft surface. It can now be embossed with an embossing pen to create an effective 3D look and then glued on.
Bookmark:
First cut out your desired motifs and stick them onto cardboard. Here, too, you can straw silk paper tear and combine. Also glue the back of the bookmarks. Then punch a hole and attach the tassels using the rings.
