bubble candles can be seen everywhere you look, in a wide variety of colors and sizes. They are absolutely on trend! Bubble candles create a cozy atmosphere when they burn and are also a great decorative object for your home. You can also easily make these trendy candles yourself. We explain how to do it in our instructions.
This is how the bubble candles are made:
Amount of wax for candle mold Bubble Large: approx. 240 g Amount of wax for small bubble candle mold: approx. 50 g
Important: The wax must not be heated above 60°C, otherwise it will decompose and the candle will be uneven or even crumble when it is removed from the mold!
First pierce the middle of the mold with a pointed object such as a awl and pull the wick through this hole. If you like, you can already shorten the wick at both ends.
The next step is to melt the wax. Make sure you use a thermometer, as the wax must never be heated above 60°C! You can use either candle drops or wax dyes to color the wax. The difference is that the candle drops color the wax rather brightly/pastelike and already contain fragrances. Wax dyes, on the other hand, are unscented but very intense in color, so you can dye your candles dark.
Once the wax has melted and been dyed, it is poured into the molds. Make sure that the wick is in the middle. You can, for example, use a bamboo skewer to help you by placing it on the mold so that the wick remains in the middle.
After Time to dry: the finished candles can be removed from the mold. If you have not yet shortened the wicks, you can do so now. Your decorative bubble candles are ready.
