1. Create the basis: Prepare the card
First, choose a paper color that will form the base of your card. Cut the Paper slightly smaller than the card itself and stick it onto the card using 3D-glue pads . This makes it look particularly three-dimensional.
2. Create pens from Paper
With the VBS Contour cutter, you can easily and accurately cut 2 cm wide strips from colored coloured paper and brown kraft paper .
The colored strips will make up the pencils you have made: Lay them next to each other at different lengths so that the edges form a line at one end of the strip. Attach the kraft paper strip 1 cm below this (imaginary) line across it. This represents the "wooden sheathing" of the individual pegs.
Cut the individual strips apart again and cut a point at the end of each strip covered with kraft paper . Round off the opposite corners and you have a pencil shape. Stick the pencils you have made onto the card.
3. Stamp messages and set the scene
Choose a silicone stamp of your choice and place it on a clear stamp holder. Press the stamp firmly into the stamping ink and then stamp a strip of kraft paper with firm pressure.
Extra tip: After stamping, you should clean the stamp with a special stamp cleaner so that it is ready for your next craft project.
Cut the stamped paper strips into an interesting shape and attach it to your card using 3D-glue pads .
4. Envelope design
