Instructions No. 3600
Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 4 Hours
Step 1: Punch out and prepare the flowers
Take your craft punch and punch out as many flowers as you like in different sizes. Make sure you then carefully bend the petals slightly inwards. This little trick gives your flowers more volume and makes them look more three-dimensional.
Step 2: Build up the flower layers
Now start assembling the flowers into a bouquet. Glue another large flower onto each large flower and add a small flower on top. Place a decorative half pearl in the center of each of these combination flowers. This will give your flowers an extra sparkle. Allow everything to dry well before continuing.
Step 3: Create smaller flowers
This step is repeated with the small flowers. Glue a second small flower onto a small flower and place another half pearl in the middle. These small flowers also need some time to dry.
Step 4: Transfer the lettering
Print out the template. Then place the graphite paper on the card and place the printed template on top. Trace the lettering with a pencil to transfer it to the card. Then remove the template and the graphite paper.
Step 5: Trace the lettering
Now take a fineliners, to trace the transferred lettering neatly onto the card. A micron-fineliners is a fine, permanent writing pen that is particularly suitable for detailed work.
Step 6: Arrange the flower bouquet
Now comes the creative part: glue the finished flowers to the top of your card and allow them to dry thoroughly. You can make creative arrangements here to make the bouquet look more lively and individual.
Step 7: Final decorating
Round off your artwork by painting some flower stems and leaves on the card. Make a pretty bow from the jute cord and stick it to the bouquet. These decorative details add extra charm to your card.
