With these motifs a piece of Africa moves into your home! The Casting mould "Wild Savannah" from the collection Savana is a DIN A4 format with nine African motifs. The size is approx. 4.0 - 15.4 cm with a height of approx. 0.6 - 1.2 cm and a total filling quantity of approx. 150 ml.
You can create the detailed lion, rhinoceros, meerkat, bird and the impressive elephants, as well as trees and a border with textured surface. With concrete or white creative casting slip, the African castings succeed in no time. Decorated with craft colors create great accessories for greeting card design, gift wrapping, table decoration, in the scrapbook area or even for the decoration of stretcher frames, wooden signs and Co.
The perfect complement for African style are the laser cut motifs, straw silks, die cuts, stencils and scrapbook papers from the same Savana collection.
Tips to use:
Preparations:
Mix the desired casting compound according to the instructions. If you wish, you can color it with color pigment powder.
Application:
Slowly pour the mixed casting compound into the casting mould. Leave a rim of at least 2 mm free to make it easier to demould your casting later.
Gently tap the casting mould so that the mixture is evenly distributed and any air bubbles come to the surface. You can then prick these with a lace object.
Time to dry:
Allow the casting compound to harden well. Follow the drying times specified in the instructions for the casting compound.
Work to finish:
You can now demould your casting. If the casting does not come off simply by dropping it, you can carefully loosen the mould all around with your fingers and tap it against the mould.
Good to know:
For detailed moulds, we recommend using a mould release agent or release wax to protect the mould.
