There are many beautiful ways to capture your holiday memories or exciting adventures. For example, a picture frame with an integrated chalkboard, like this gold-coloured frame, is very versatile. You can decorate the black, smooth chalkboard with photos and write on it with special chalk markers to spice it up. With the particularly fine-writing edding 4085 chalk markers by Securit, you can easily create short texts or detailed drawings in 20 bright colours, including pastel and metallic shades. When finished, the picture frame is a real eye-catcher and a jewel in your home. And if you want to capture a new highlight on the picture frame, this is no problem, simply remove the photos and wipe the design with a damp cloth and off you go to the next project.
Step 1:
Here you can see the materials at a glance. Use the edding 4085 chalk marker by Securit in various pastel colours and white to create the picture frame. First print out the template "our travel adventure" and have the selected photos ready.
Step 2:
Before you start designing, activate the white chalk marker as follows: Shake the marker vigorously with the cap closed, remove the cap and pump the marker a few times on an absorbent paper until the ink appears in the tip. Now you can start activating all other colours in the same way. Always close the marker well after use and store it horizontally.
Step 3:
Using the template, draw the title of the collage on the chalkboard with the activated chalk marker. It is best to apply the edge of the letters first and then colour them in. If you don't succeed at first or want to change something, simply wipe off the ink with a damp cloth and start again.
Step 4:
Now spread out the holiday photos on the board and fix them with double-sided adhesive tape. Make sure there is enough free space for small texts or drawings between the pictures.
Step 5:
Choose a beautiful colour and then use the edding chalk marker by Securit to write on them as you please or frame individual photos, just as you like.
Step 6:
Matching drawings or small decorations spice up the collage and ensure a great result.
