Add Color to Your Home with a Vibrant Easter Branch
Decorate the Branches
Cut a few ends of the colorful embroidery thread and wrap them around the branches. Make sure to secure the ends with a bit of craft glue. If you're using fresh branches, be careful not to wrap any buds, so they can bloom or turn green in the vase.
Then, pick out the small pom-poms from the bulk pack and attach them to the branches. If you're using craft glue, you might need to press the pom-poms down a little longer. Hot glue works faster, but visible glue marks might appear.
Painting Easter Eggs
If you don't want to leave the eggs unpainted, start by priming them with craft paint. Be careful, so the papier-mâché eggs don't get wavy due to too much moisture. It's better to work in two thin layers if the paint doesn't cover immediately.
After the base layer has dried, you can paint rabbits in different colors. Mine have two sizes to fit different fluffy tails. Once the paint has dried, stick on the white pom-poms. To do this, cut a small piece from the pom-pom, apply some glue there, and press it firmly against the rabbit.
Once all the pom-poms are securely in place and the glue has dried, hang the eggs on the branch. Now, your colorful Easter decoration just needs a nice spot in your home.
