Instructions No. 3087
Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 1 hour 45 Minutes
First, protect your workplace with a handicraft mat.
Then mix Raysin and water to form a creamy mixture. Follow the instructions on the packet!
280 ml water + 1 kg powder = 650 ml casting compound (1x water + 3.5x powder)
Carefully pour the mixture into the mold. Tap the filled mold lightly on the surface several times so that air bubbles rise. After approx. 1 hour you can carefully remove the castings from the mold. Leave them to air dry for a while. You can sand the edges smooth with sandpaper . The molds must be cleaned thoroughly after use!
Place the lid of the tin on the napkin motif and trace the edges. Cut the napkin to size and peel off the top layer of the motif. Place it on the lid and apply the napkin varnish with the brush. Start in the middle and work your way outwards. If the napkin sticks out at the edge, simply cut it off with silhouette scissors.
Tip: If your pillar candle is too large in diameter, you can sharpen it with a candle sharpener. To hold the candle firmly in place, place a small wax adhesive plate in the base of the casting!
