Crafting with wooden blocks
To do this, lay a wooden block flat in front of you and glue a second block upright on the long edge using handicraft glue . Repeat this step with two more craft blocks. As soon as the glue has dried, place the metal ring between the two wooden feet and fix everything in place with glue. Allow everything to dry thoroughly.
The metal ring now stands in a self-made stand. And is ready to be decorated further .
You will need a total of 8 blocks for the wooden decoration area in the metal ring. Glue 3 blocks together twice on the long, narrow sides. Repeat this step to create two pairs.
Glue the two pairs together on the short, narrow sides to create a long board. This creates the base for the table decoration.
Keep a small distance: Glue 2 more blocks to the sides of your board so that there is a gap of 3 mm between them and they each protrude by one centimeter. As soon as everything is thoroughly dry, insert your self-made wooden decorative surface as straight as possible into the metal ring and fix everything in place at the joints with more glue.
Prepare the decorative elements
Paint the wooden eggs and individual wooden pennants individually in your favorite colors. With a second coat of paint, you can also decorate the painted eggs further with dots or stripes. Make sure that the handicraft paint is completely dry.
Label the pennants with a white opaque marker. We have drawn one letter per pennant here. Then thread the supplied ribbon through the holes in the individual pennants to create a decorative banner.
Decorating
Arranging the individual decorative elements is particularly fun. Start by carefully sticking the painted eggs onto your wooden board. You can use further handicraft glue to fix them, but you can also use hot glue. Decorate the wooden decoration surface with Iceland moss, decorative silk and daisy flowers. You can also use some ribbon to position the bunting perfectly and create a harmonious look.
You can also design the base of the metal bunny to match the decorated metal ring. Both decorative objects together create a harmonious overall look.
