Eggs with chicken masks

Start by downloading our templates and transferring them to your craft cardboard sheet. Draw the outlines carefully and make sure that all parts are clearly recognisable. Grab your scissors and cut out the parts precisely.

Take the triangle you cut out for the beak and fold it in half. This crease gives the beak its characteristic shape and gives your bird a lively appearance.

Now put all the elements of your bird together. Glue the beak halves to the bird's body in the intended place. Use glue that dries quickly to ensure a firm hold.

Punch two holes in the sides with the hole punch. Use the smallest attachment for this.

Cut about 15 cm of cord and tie three knots at one end. These ensure that the cord does not slip through the hole. Pull the unknotted end of the cord through one hole and pass it over to the other hole. Once there, tie three knots to secure everything in place. You can now paint your terracotta pots colourful if you like. Once dry, the eggs can be placed in the pots.
