Creative Easter egg design with leaf metal
The Easter bunny loves it colorful and shiny! With our simple steps, you can transform ordinary easter eggs eggs into little works of art that are guaranteed to turn heads. With the help of this idea, you can add an elegant touch to your Easter decorations. And the best thing about it? It's child's play and great fun!
Paint the eggs with pastel-colored handicraft paint . If you use the craft paints from the materials list for this idea, you will end up with different but perfectly matching easter eggs colors. Let the paint dry.

If you want to adopt the striped look presented in this idea, glue 4 straight strips 3 mm wide evenly across each egg. You should use a cut piece of plain adhesive tape or a piece of washi tape for this.

The glamorous effect is now created by leaf metal. Coat each egg with gold leaf priming milk and apply leaf metal to the resulting damp adhesive surface until the entire egg is covered. Allow everything to dry briefly and wipe off any excess leaf metal with a soft cloth. what remains is a beautiful shimmering effect.

Now carefully remove the adhesive tapes (be careful not to peel off the base-handicraft paint as well).

Then coat the entire egg with a protective top coat and leave to dry thoroughly.
In the next step, paint small flowers with white paint and attach one of the flowers to each egg hanger: fix them in place with hot glue and tie a small bow made of satin ribbon. over the flower

If you like, you can finish off your craft by attaching a small bell to the bottom of the egg. Pull an eyelet for hanging eggs/balls through the eyelet of the bell and drill a hole in the papier-mâché egg base using a awl . Press the wires of the hanging loop into the small hole and fix the spot with hot glue.
