Fairy houses with découpage

You can make beautiful fairy houses from terracotta pots with moss and découpage pictures very easily with our instructions. The découpage technique is both simple and decorative. The little houses are perfect for decorating on the table, on the dresser or on the windowsill.

First paint the embossing foil with antique white paint handicraft paint and leave it to dry.

Roughly cut out the desired motifs from the straw silk paper roughly cut out. Coat the embossing foil with napkin varnish the embossing foil, place the motifs on top and coat again with varnish. Once dry, cut out the motifs with the tweezers. Place the foil with the motif facing down on the VBS special mat and emboss the reverse side. Embossing deliberately highlights parts of the motif, thus emphasizing certain areas. The result is an impressive 3D effect.

Paint the clay pots, the saucers, the miniature table and the stools with the craft paints VBS Paint the craft paints. With VBS handicraft glue or hot glue, the clay pots and saucers can now be glued on top of each other to create the fairy houses. Glue on the Iceland moss and the embossed motifs - and the cute fairy landscape is ready.
