Working time: 2 Hours
First protect your workplace with a VBS handicraft mat and make sure that it is clean so that the modelling clay not get dirty.
open the packaging of the FIMO soft large block carefully so that you can pack the rest airtight later. Prick a piece of polymer clay with the polishing tray and knead it until it is soft. Shape it into two balls for the snowman's head and body. Make sure that the head matches the cylinder shape that will be placed on top later. Place the two balls on top of each other and press them down lightly.
Take another piece of white modelling clay and roll it into a "sausage". Cut it in half and press it to the right and left of the snowman's body to form his arms. You can use small balls of the same mixture to form snowballs and create a small "snowball mountain". Shape two mini balls for the eyes and set them aside.
Use a small piece of polymer clay "mandarin" and shape it into the snowman's nose. Press it into the face using the silicone modeling brush.
Turn 5 tiny balls out of the black polymer clay and press them flat. Place 2 as eyes over the nose together with the two white mini balls. Use the other 3 as buttons. Poke small holes in the buttons with a pottery needle and carefully attach them to the snowman's belly.
Shape a snowman from the FIMO effect "Galaxy" red into a scarf. Knead it soft, roll it into a "sausage" and use the roller to roll over it FIMO acrylic Roller to roll over it. Carefully wrap the scarf around the snowman's neck. If it is too long, you can shorten it with scissors. Also cut small fringes into the ends and bend them slightly. Use the FIMO acrylic Roller.
You can make candy canes from a white and red "sausage". Simply twist the two "sausages" together and carefully roll them again on the handicraft mat . Then cut them to the desired length using the polishing sheet and bend one side over.
Carefully place everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Set your oven to 110°C and leave everything to harden for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven and leave the mixture to cool slowly.
You can then coat everything with FIMO Gloss varnish to protect the surface and prevent the colors from fading. Leave to harden completely for 24 hours.
Place the top hat on the snowman's head and fix it in place with some hot glue if necessary. Now glue your snowman as well as the candy canes and snowballs into the acrylic ball halves using hot glue. Sprinkle some of the organic snow inside, close the acrylic ball and attach the satin ribbon to the eyelet for hanging.
