Step 1: Prepare the Styrofoam Ball

Start with a large styrofoam ball - the suitable size of 20 cm in diameter ensures that the hat fits perfectly on a child's head. You'll paint one of these halves with green paint. Use Hobby Color in light green, as it is versatile and dries quickly.

Step 2: Create the Frog Eyes

Now it's time for the eyes: Use two smaller styrofoam balls (e.g., with a diameter of 4 cm). Paint them halfway green. You can now insert toothpicks or craft sticks into the balls to attach them later to the frog's head. Cut the toothpicks or craft sticks to size and place the eyes on the half ball. With a hot glue gun, everything stays securely in place. Create the charming frog look by painting large black pupils with a white highlight and applying a perfect round "eyeliner".

Step 3: Give the Frog Its Voice

A frog without a croak is like a cake without a cherry – so your frog hat naturally needs a big, wide frog mouth! Make sure the mouth smiles nicely, and enhance the facial features if needed.

Step 4: The Final Touch
