Illuminated glasses in fruit design
Instructions No. 2525Do you love beautiful highlight decorations? With our illuminated glasses in fruit design, you can create a great eye-catcher. Decorated in the kitchen or on the dining table, you have an extraordinary decorative element!
An eye-catcher in the light and in the dark!
This is how you make the great illuminated glasses:
First paint the glasses with a colour. Let it dry well before using another colour. This will prevent the colours from running into each other. The colours can be mixed with each other. Design the jars in the colours of the fruits and add details as you like.
Before the colour can be burnt in, the objects must dry for about four hours.
For a permanent hold, the colour must be baked at 160 °C for about 90 minutes. It is important to place the object in a cold oven! Only after the required temperature has been reached does the baking time begin. To complete the baking process correctly, the object must cool down in the oven so that the painting becomes waterproof, dishwasher-safe and also saliva-proof. If the paint is not burnt in, it can be washed off with water.
Cover the lids with felt. To do this, place the lid on the felt and border it about 2 cm larger (diameter of lid 5 cm = diameter of felt 9 cm). Cut pieces of the figure wire as large as you like and glue them onto the lid as a stem. Print out the leaf template, cut it out and transfer it to the felt with the micron. Cut out, draw the leaf veins with the pencil, glue one end of the leaf together a little and glue it to the plant stem (figure wire).
