Stars definitely belong to the Christmas season. Our shaking stars are filled with glitter and illuminated. They are an eye-catcher on the Christmas tree or as a nice souvenir the hit!
Try it out right away - they are very easy to reproduce!
It's that simple:
Download the templates and cut them out. Then transfer the stars onto the foil. Cut out the stars roughly.
Now place two stars on top of each other and sew around. Leave the right and left side of two points open for filling.
Now you can paint the stars as you wish, embellish them with handlettering or decorate them with stamps. In our example we have painted Flaky Glue motifs with Glitter and written words on the stars with a gold-coloured pen in handlettering.
The stars are filled with glitter through the opening at the tips of the stars and the fairy lights are placed. Of course you can also fill the stars with other scattering parts. There are no limits to your creativity
Sew up the opening. The seams are closed securely by pulling the upper thread backwards and knotting it with the lower thread.
Finally, pull a hanging tape through the upper prong of the star with a needle. Fix the switch of the light chains with hot glue on the back of the star.
