A beautiful wall hanging that you can easily make thanks to our template. It looks great in the children's room as well as in the living room or bedroom.

How to knot this great rainbow:

Please cut the following ribbons to size: Length 240 cm each: 14x natural, 3x yellow, 3x dust, 3x blue.

Take the ribbons double and knot them with a lark's head knot on a cardboard roll/broom handle or thick round wood according to the knotting pattern. The handle only serves as a placeholder when knotting and will be removed later. For the ribbons, knot the natural coloured ones first, then yellow, dust and blue.

First start with the natural coloured ribbon. Knot from left to right. At the end of a row, change direction and work back again.

When another colour is added or the knotting thread is used up, you can simply tie the next knot with a new piece of thread. The protruding ends of the thread are then simply worked into the following row or hidden in the knot and then just cut off.

When the motif is finished knotting, remove the placeholder such as a cardboard roll etc. This will create longer eyelets. This creates longer eyelets. Thread a wooden ball onto every second one.
Cut the beech round stick in half and sand the ends.

Thread the mural onto the eyelets.

Cut 1m of the cord in dust, yellow and blue and weave it. This is the suspension and is simply pushed over the round rod at the ends.

Shorten the fringes below the motif to the desired length and twist the cord on.
