This pretty lamp is a great example of how decorative maritime designs can be. Find out here how easy it is to design your own lamps.
The lamp consists of lampshade and lamp base. The VBS lamp base is already equipped with an E14 lamp socket.
First, use the lampshade to roughly cut a large enough piece of fabric.
Attach a strip of double-sided tape around the top and bottom edges of the lampshade. Remove the tape protector, apply the fabric and stick it tightly to the shade. Cut the fabric straight with some overhang, at the top and bottom edges of the lamp with about 2 cm overhang each. Fix the cut edge on the lamp surface with another strip of tape.
On the inner edge of the lamp at the top and bottom, you will need another strip of double-sided tape. Pull the fabric tight again at the edges and fix it to the inside of the lampshade using the adhesive strips.
Decorate the base of the lamp with another piece of fabric. Then screw the adapter and with its help finally the lampshade onto the lamp base. All you need is a light bulb for the E14 socket.
