Step 3: Pouring the moulds
Pour the prepared mixture into the moulds. It is important that you always leave a rim of 0.5 cm to 1 cm free with plastic moulds so that the castings can be removed more easily later. Gently shake or tap the moulds on the table so that the mixture is evenly distributed in the mould and any trapped air bubbles can escape from the mixture.
Step 4: Demoulding the castings
After about an hour, you can demould the castings. To do this, turn the casting mould over and press gently on the back so that the casting can slide out gently downwards. If necessary, you can tap the mould lightly on the table to help.
