Making a wall and door
The partition wall at music clock consists of a gnome door and a self-made wooden spatula wall.
Place three wooden spatulas next to each other and glue them together with VBS handicraft glue together. Once the glue has dried, position the window from the gnome door set on the wooden spatula wall and outline the contours with a pencil. Cut out the window opening with a cutter knife and ruler.
Cut a spatula with scissors to the length of the window. This will be the windowsill. Glue the window and the window sill into the cut-out window opening. Then glue the wall to the door. As soon as the glue has dried and thus developed its adhesive strength, paint the window and door on both sides according to your personal taste with the VBS handicraft paint.
Make the curtains by cutting an approx. 2 cm wide strip of white craft felt in the middle. Glue both strips to the top of the window with hot glue and shorten the felt strips as desired. Tie the ends together with some cotton cord .
The fir garland consists of 2 green chenille wires. Twist them together and wrap them with part of the chain of light. The rest of the chain of light will be used later in the interior. Glue the garland to the door and the wall with hot glue.
Then attach the door wreath to the Secret Santa door with hot glue. If you stick a small dot of paint straight from the tube directly onto the door, you will get a circle that will make a pretty doorknob.
Design the floor
For the wooden floor in the interior, glue 4 wooden spatulas (next to each other) together. Once these are dry, place the music clock on top and trace the contours of the curve. Cut the spatulas to size and glue the floor covering you have made to the music clock and paint it.
Glue the wall and door in the middle of the music clock, directly to the edge of the floor.
