Old inconspicuous small pieces of furniture can become a new highlight in your home with just a little only paint!

Here's how it works

Preparation of the cupboard
The Screw hooks and door handles from Remove the cabinet and put it aside. Sand all wooden surfaces carefully with Sandpaper and wipe off the sanding dust thoroughly. Then prime the cabinet in white (a light background will make the paint shine).

After drying, first paint all surfaces twice with Handicraft paint pink, let it dry well between the individual layers. Then paint the surfaces in another layer with pink Metallic Effect paint .

After the paint has dried through, you should accentuate the edges with the black Ink Pads and also wipe into the surfaces from the outside to the inside.
Tip: Practice this technique on a board or similar until you know exactly how much pressure you need to apply with Ink Pads .

Paint the two MDF decors with silver Handicraft paint , after drying accentuate the contours with Ink Pads and then glue them to the doors with Effekt Glue. To do this, apply a rich Schcht Effek Glue with a spatula

Screw the hooks and door handles back on, put small facetted balls on the hooks and glue individual gemstones onto handles, MDF decors and between the hooks with Effect Glue. This can be done especially well with tweezers.

Materials science: Ink Pads "Staz-On

The paint of this waterproof, solvent-based Ink Pads adheres to all smooth surfaces. It has been specially developed for use on plastic, metal, ceramic, coated Paper and leather. You cannot stamp only with it, the Ink Pads are also fantastic for imitating a deceptively real "Shabby" look. To do this, simply turn the Ink Pads over and wipe over the edges and surfaces. If you don't think you can do this directly with the Ink Pads you can also take up the color with a paper towel and wipe with it, so the color application becomes more discreet.
