Quilling snowflakes and angels
Instructions No. 2297You make enchanting snowflake pendants and angels from small paper strips by the Quilling technique. Very decorative on the window, as gift tags or as tree decorations.
Explained briefly and concisely
Angel craft:
- Paint the acrylic shapes drops from the inside with frost effect paint and let dry.
- Glue a strip of paper together to form a circle.
- After drying, press the "circle" together in the center and fix it with glue.
- Repeat this with different papers in different lengths. Glue them all together in the center.
- Paint a wooden ball with white craft paint.
When everything is dry, first assemble the acrylic shape.
Knot the perlon thread to the hanging loop. Thread the end into a needle. Pierce the needle through the center of the wings and then string the wooden ball. Knot the end of the thread into a loop.
Snowflake stars made from quilling squiggles:
- Using the quilling pen and the paper strips, wind paper rolls. To prevent them from rolling up further, apply a little glue to the end of the strip and glue it on.
- To get different sizes the paper strips can be glued together or shortened. By squeezing and bending, different shapes can be created.
- The individual rolls are now positioned on the cork plate or on a foam rubber plate as desired and fixed with the pins. There are no limits to your imagination.
- The individual rolls are glued together with a little glue.
- After drying, attach a ribbon to the stars for hanging.
