Make your own individual confetti bags

In these instructions, you will learn how to make creative and individual confetti bags from simple materials. These original bags are not only only suitable for the turn of the year, but also wonderful as gift idea or for birthdays and weddings. Let your creativity run wild and surprise your friends and family with something really special.
Step 1: Prepare the confetti bags
Take a sheet of from vellum paper and cut it in half lengthwise. The strips should be 10.5 cm wide. Then cut 19 cm off these strips.
Fold the strip at about 4 - 5 cm. Measure 9 cm from the folded edge and fold the other end of the strip towards the middle. There should now be a small overlap. Glue the bags together here.
Step 2: Prepare the decorations and confetti
For the confetti, take the craft cardboard sheet and punch out as many shamrocks as you need for your bags. A heart punch is also ideal for weddings. Tip: If you cut the cardboard to the approximate width of the punching area beforehand, punching will be easier.
Mix the shamrocks with the sequins. This is best done in a small tin, which makes it easier to fill the bags later. Depending on how you want to decorate and label the confetti bags, you can stamp white craft cardboard sheet or write on them. Punch or cut the elements accordingly. If you want to sew them on both sides later, they should be exactly 9 cm wide.
Step 3: Sew the bags shut
After the preparation, the first step is to sew only one side of the bags closed with the sewing machine. If you have prepared elements from Paper that run across the entire width, you must also sew these in at the same time. If they only are sewn to one side, you can also attach them to the second seam. Then fill your confetti bags with the confetti mix and sew the second side closed. Make sure that both sides are sewn shut at least enough to prevent the confetti from falling out.
If you haven't sewn on any cardboard, you can simply attach further decorations to the vellum paper with handicraft glue after sewing. Or paint directly onto the bags.
