1. Melt soap
First heat a small amount of eco mould soap. You can either melt it in a melting pot or with a melting ladle over a water bath.
2. Add colour and fragrance
Once the soap has melted evenly into a liquid, add soap colour and fragrance oil to your personal taste. Stir the mixture well so that the colour and fragrance are evenly distributed.
3. Pouring and hardening
Carefully pour the liquid soap into a casting mould (up to about 5 mm below the edge). Leave the soap to harden for about 4 - 5 hours. You can then carefully remove it from the mould. To do this, tap lightly on the base of the mould until the bar of soap slides out.
4. Paint the boat
Paint the wooden boat with craft paints. Once the paint has dried, coat the whole boat with acrylic varnish. This will protect the wood of the boat from moisture later on.
5. Transfer the lettering
Print out the free template and transfer the lettering to the wooden boat using graphite paper. Then trace the lettering with marker pens.
6. decorate
Fill the boat with wood wool and arrange the soap bars with some sea shells on the wood wool. Feel free to place more sea shells next to your soap boat - this decoration is sure to delight you for a long time!
