Playful and romantic and very easy to recreate is this pretty summer decoration for your window. You can always put fresh blossoms into the test tubes, which then dance with the hearts and ribbons in the summer breeze.
It's that simple:
Wrap the metal ring with loop tape, fixing the beginning and end with hot glue. Thread the bobbin lace on silver-coloured aluminium wire and form hearts from it, then connect the ends of the wire and glue the ends of the lace together.
Extra tip
For the big hearts you need about 25 cm wire, for the small hearts about 20 cm.
The mini Brads from both sides in the bobbin lace
To hang the ring, cut 60 cm aluminium wire three times, bend halfway and twist. Attach the strands to the wire ring and hold them firmly together in the middle
Important
When the test tubes are filled with water, the decoration becomes much heavier. For this reason, the wires of the suspension must be well fixed and firmly twisted around each other.
Wrap the test tubes at the upper edge with deco aluminium wire and fix them in different lengths to the metal ring.
Cut 4 pieces each from green, yellow and pink ribbon (approx. 90 cm) and attach 2 miniature ribbons to the ends Brads
at a distance of about 2 cm. For this Brads through the Ribbon , in the back with the side cutter to the half
shorten and bend up. Then glue the ends together with tape-Ribbon , so that the Brads on either side of
sit at the same height.
Tie the ribbons to the ring with a small loop and fix the wire hearts in different heights with aluminium wire.
Finally fill the test tubes about half full with glass wax beads and decorate with fresh flowers.
