First, carefully cut out the included template with scissors. Next, place the template on the craft felt, trace around it with an “ fineliners ” or sublimation pen, and then cut it out as well.
If desired, the clay pots can now be painted white. Let the paint dry completely. Then turn the “ terracotta pot ” so that the bottom is facing up. Glue the felt star onto this surface using hot glue. Use the “ fineliners ” to draw a face on the “ wooden ball ,” which is then glued in the center of the felt star to serve as the head.
For the halo, a chenille wire arranged into a circle. The protruding wire is wound in a spiral around the circle to give it more stability. The finished halo is attached to the top of the wooden ball . If desired, arms can also be added using chenille wire . To do this, cut two pieces of chenille wire , each about 4 cm long. Glue an wooden ball to one end of each piece, and secure the other end with hot glue between terracotta pot and the felt star.
Next, cut a piece of any size vellum paper and labeled or painted as desired using a fineliners . Then fold it once down the middle and attach it to the wooden ball-’s hands with hot glue. Finally, glue two feathers on each side of the angel—one on the right and one on the left—from the back to form wings. If desired, you can now add small accents with a glitter liner, for example on the star or the terracotta pot. Let the glitter liner dry completely.
Once all materials are completely dry, the “ terracotta pot” angel is finished and can be displayed as a decoration or given as a gift. Have fun crafting!
