Let's welcome the festive season together with these adorable terracotta pot Christmas elves!
With the set you can make five Christmas gnomes that are perfect as decorations or as gift wrapping suitable for the holidays. Add a personal touch to your Christmas decorations this year and enjoy craft time with family and friends.
In addition to the materials included in the set, you will need scissors and hot glue.
1.
First, paint the terracotta-pots completely in carmine red . It is best to apply 2-3 coats so that the paint covers well. The individual layers of paint should always be completely dry before applying another one.
Then place the small terracotta-pots on the table with the opening facing downwards.
2.
Now cut out the motif templates for the beards. transfer them to the craft felt and cut out all the parts. Glue one large and one small beard cut-out together and attach them to the terracotta-pots using hot glue. For the nose, glue a wooden hemisphere onto each of the beards.
3.
Glue the Christmas hats to the front, back and sides of the small terracotta-pots using a dot of hot glue. For the large terracotta-pots, attach them to the front of the beard.
4.
Now add the messages around the edge. Draw everything out delicately with a pencil first. Then trace the letters with a white marker .
5.
Finally, fill the cellophane bags and place them in the large terracotta-pots. Close them with the satin ribbon and your terracotta pot-Christmas gnomes are ready.
Have fun making them
