Are you still looking for Christmas decorations for your home or original gift wrappings? Then make these cute winter gnomes from acrylic balls. Even children can make these little gnomes. The acrylic balls can later be filled in different ways. How about decorative snow, white pompoms or sweets or money as a gift, for example?
It's that simple:
Faces: Delicately sketch out the faces with a pencil. Then colour in with markers and craft paint: Start with the eyes by colouring them in with the white craft paint. Then paint the iris with beige colour and the pupils with black. Add a dot of light with white paint. The rest of the face can be traced with a fineliner, thickness 2.5.
Hat & Scarf: Lay the craft felt in front of you. For the scarf, cut a 1 cm wide strip on the short side. You can make several scarves out of this.
Transfer the pattern for the hats to the felt sheets and cut them out. Use hot glue to glue the caps together at the edge and then attach a pompom to the tip.
Finish the gnomes: Fill one half of the acrylic ball with snow, pompoms or sweets as desired and close it. Knot a piece of perlon thread to the suspension and thread on a wooden ball with a face. Fix the wooden ball only to the back of one half of the acrylic ball to ensure that it can be opened later.
Thread the perlon thread through a needle and pull it through the cap. With a little glue, the cap should be attached to the head. The hats can still be shaped as desired, these areas can be fixed with hot glue. Finally, tie the scarf around the neck, shorten the long ends and cut fringes into it.
