This is how you make the fir trees:
1. Cut 24x 15 cm long threads from the cotton rope.
2. Make the wave knot (see photo): take a double thread and place it under a round stick. Take a second thread, also double, and place it over the round stick. Knot the two ribbons as shown in the photo and pull the ends tightly together.
3. Repeat the process alternately with the remaining ribbons.
4. Untwist the ends of the cotton ribbons. Tip: The threads can be combed with a brush for an even fluffier effect.
5 Use scissors to cut the ribbons into shape to create a fir tree shape.
6. place a wooden ball on the tip of the round stick and the other end in the wooden disc. You can shorten the length of the round stick to create different sized fir trees.
