These minimalist driftwood angels are an eye-catcher in your home. The angels charm with their naturalness, because the warm colour of the wood and the clean white complement each other wonderfully. So the simple angels fit to every interior.
And this is how it works:
First, paint the wooden balls and discs completely with white craft paint - it is best to apply 3 layers so that the paint covers well. Important: the individual layers of paint should always be completely dry before applying another.
The driftwood angels can be made in different sizes. To make them, simply shorten the round sticks to any length with scissors and glue them into the wooden discs with hot glue.
Now let the various shapes of the driftwood inspire you. Drill a hole in the top and bottom centre of the wood of your choice. You can use an electric drill or a hand drill (drill diameter 4 mm).
Place the body of the angels on the round sticks with a little hot glue. Then attach the heads. To do this, insert a small piece of the round rod into the upper drilled hole and fix the head to it with glue.
For the halo, lay the wire double and twist it. Place it around the head and close it to form a circle. For a better hold, fix it with hot glue on the back of the head. Wrap the ends of the wire around a round stick to get the spiral shape. Simply cut off any ends that are too long.
Finally, transfer the templates for the wings and star onto the embossing card with a pencil. Cut out all the parts and glue them to the driftwood.
