Are you looking for a creative way to decorate your home with beautiful things from nature? Then these inspirational instructions are just the thing for you! In just a few simple steps, you can transform a simple wind light into your personal favourite decoration.

Pressing flowers
Nature itself offers decorations in the most beautiful colours and shapes. With the VBS flowerpress, you can easily dry and press your favourite flowers yourself.
Select the flowers and leaves you want to dry and press. Place them between the individual leaves of the flowerpress. Cover the leaves with the two wooden covers and fix everything in place. To do this, plug the screws provided into the four holes in the flowerpress and tighten them.

The paper of the flowerpress will now gradually soak up the moisture. The screws can be used to exert pressure on the flowers and leaves so that the moisture is pressed out.

Stick the pressed flowers onto the wind light
Once your flowers and leaves are completely dry, pick them up. Spread some handicraft glue on the back of the flowers. Make sure the glue is applied evenly so that the flowers stick well and then carefully place them on your wind light. Allow the glue to dry completely to secure the flowers.

Attach decorative ribbons to the handle
Grab a nice decorative ribbons that suits your style. Tie it loosely around the handle of the wind light and let the ends hang down in style. This will give your wind light an extra touch of elegance and naturalness.

Glue on the scatter decorations
Now it's time for the small, charming details. Use a few scatter decorations that you have chosen to match your pressed flowers and stick them to the wind light using handicraft glue. These little accents make all the difference and give your work of art that certain something.
Insert the tea light jar and fill to the brim with sand
Fill the glass with a little sand. Place a small tea light jar in the centre of the wind light. Fill the rim around the glass with a little sand. The sand holds the tea light jar in place and makes it look elegant in the wind light, while at the same time reminding you of a natural landscape.

Place the tealight in the glass
Finally, place a tea light in the glass. Your self-designed wind light is now ready to create a warm and appealing atmosphere in your home!
