Painting the tealight holders
Start your project by painting the tealight holders in the desired colours. Make sure that the paint is applied evenly and allow it to dry completely. Use an opaque waterproof marker to place small dots evenly spaced around the edge of the flowers.
Transfer the template onto kraft paper
Take the template and carefully transfer it to the kraft paper. Then cut out the template precisely. Kraft paper is robust and ideal for decorative handicrafts.
Crafting with wooden platines
Take three cut-out kraft paper flowers and glue a wooden platine in the centre of each one.
Cover the other three wooden platines with a tricot fabric. Cut the fabric to size and sew around it with a backstitch close to the edge, place a board in the fabric and pull the fabric together. Knot the thread and stick the resulting faces onto the remaining kraft paper flowers.
Now glue the prepared kraft paper flowers with the wooden platine faces in the centre of the painted flowers. Make sure that everything is firmly attached to prevent them from moving.
Fixing the round bars
Finally, attach the round bars to the back of the tealight holders. These are the flower styles of your stick-on flowers.
