Send homemade cards with loving words this Christmas. In this tutorial we show you how easy it is to create Christmas cards with cute gnomes.
Christmas cards with gnomes
Stamp various motifs as desired with waterproof stamp pad ink onto white card. Attention: the cardboard should not be too thin, as you will be working with water later! Allow the ink to dry completely.
Now you can colour or shade the motifs as you wish with the markers. To do this, either apply a line or a small area of the desired colour directly at the edge of the area to be coloured and then work this quickly into the motif with the help of the blender or a water tank brush so that a colour gradient is created. Another way of colouring (also especially for very light areas) is to paint with a pencil on a painting palette, saucer or similar and pick up the colour from there with the brush and then transfer it to the paper.
When everything has dried, you can cut out the motifs with the tweezers.
Arrange the motifs together with other papers on the cards and attach everything with double-sided tape and 3D adhesive pads in different layers. This will give you a great 3D effect.
For the banners, colour white strips from the cardboard as described above and then decorate them with brush markers and liners.
