Step 1: Preparing the surface
Before you can start painting the bowls, it is important that you clean the objects thoroughly. Use warm water and washing-up liquid to remove all traces of dust and grease. Only a clean surface guarantees that the porcelain crayons will adhere optimally and that your artwork will shine for a long time.

Step 2: Creative design
Now comes the creative part! Take your porcelain crayons and start decorating the bowls with different flowers and leaves as you wish. Step 3: Allow to dry
Once you have completed your artwork, allow the painting to air dry for around 15 minutes. This drying time ensures that the colors do not run or become damaged during the baking process in the oven. To permanently seal the painting and make it dishwasher-safe, the bowls must be baked in the oven. To do this, preheat your oven to 160 °C. Place the painted bowls in the oven and allow them to bake for 25 minutes. Then switch off the oven and leave the bowls in the oven to cool completely.

Step 4: Storing the pens
Once you have finished your creative project, it is important to store the porcelain painting pens correctly to prolong their life. Lay the pens horizontally to prevent the paint from bleeding unevenly and affecting the next application.
