Step 3: Leave to dry
Once you have completed your artwork, leave the painting to air dry for around 15 minutes. This drying time ensures that the colours do not run or become damaged during the baking process in the oven. To permanently seal the painting and make it dishwasher-safe, the bowls must be baked in the oven. To do this, preheat your oven to 160 °C. Place the painted bowls in the oven and leave them to bake for 25 minutes. Then switch off the oven and leave the bowls in the oven to cool completely.
Step 4: Storing the pens
Once you have finished your creative project, it is important to store the porcelain crayons correctly to prolong their life. Lay the pens horizontally to prevent the colour from bleeding unevenly and affecting the next application.
