DIY memo board with a retro look

Turn your photo frame into a creative memo board!

Get inspired by our step-by-step guide and transform a classic photo frame into a personal memo board with fabric in just a few steps! Step 1 - Cut an opening for the frame holder

Place the back of the photo frame on the fabric, leaving some excess on each side. This will be folded over at the end. Now cut a small rectangle where the holder of the frame sits so that it is not covered.

Step 2 - Cut and stick strips of satin ribbon to size

Step 3 - Attach fabric to the back with double-sided tape

Apply double-sided tape to all edges of the fabric, peel off the protective layer and firmly adhere the fabric to the back. Ensure the fabric is taut to prevent wrinkles.

When you turn the back over, you should see a wrinkle-free result, as seen in the image.

Place the ribbon strips evenly on the front of the frame, then remove the protective layer from the tape and secure the satin ribbon to the fabric.

Step 5 - Assemble frame and back

Carefully place the back back into the frame and secure it from behind. Excess fabric and satin ribbon are now invisible.

Step 6 - Attach a bow for decoration

Adorn the entire structure with a small bow in a desired place for the finishing touch.

Step 7 - Decorate the memo board with photos, etc.
