These decorative kandelaar are the absolute trend piece for your home decoration. With little effort and material, you too can cast these kandelaar in the trendy bubble look.
Quantity per kandelaar:
Large bubble mold: 8-10 heaped tablespoons of Raysin Small bubble mold: 2-3 heaped tablespoons of Raysin
First mix the above quantities of Raysin with water in a mixing cup mix. The consistency should be creamy, similar to yoghurt.
For the white version, pour the mixed mixture directly into the mold. Place a candle nozzle in the middle of the mold. It is best to weigh the spout down with an object so that it does not come up during the drying phase.
For the colored versions, add ½ tbsp for beige and1 ½ tbsp for light brown handicraft paint in grey brown. Stir the mixture well and then pour it into the mold. Repeat the process with the candle nozzle.
As a rule, the kandelaar can be removed from the mold after approx. 30 minutes Time to dry:ATTENTION: as soon as handicraft paint has been added, the Time to dry:. time is extended. This can now vary between 1-3 hours. After the kandelaar have been removed from the mold, they should further be left to air dry. You can then smooth the area around the candle spout with sandpaper and coat the entire holder with napkin varnish the entire holder. This will give them a glossy look.
