These cute gnomes are very easy to sew yourself thanks to the free template. A beautiful decoration for the winter season and also an excellent gift for your loved ones.

This is how the gnomes are sewn:

Transfer the pattern to the felt sheets and cut out everything. You need two sheets of felt per star. Sew two stars of the same colour together with the buttonhole stitch. Leave an opening at the end to fill the stars with fill wadding. Then sew the opening closed.

Knopflochstich

Next, place the caps on the stars to see at what height you need to glue the beard. Start gluing the beards straight away. Be careful, the hot glue gets very hot.

Then glue on the hemispheres for the nose and put on the caps. Fix them to the stars with hot glue as well. Now cut the beards into shape. Finally, make or sew folds into the caps by hand or with the help of hot glue.

If needed, you can thread yarn through the pompoms to make a loop.
