This is how you design the artwork:
Work in a protected workspace with a handicraft mat to avoid contamination.
First prepare the casting compound by mixing Raysin and water to a creamy consistency. Follow the instructions on the pack carefully! For the best consistency, mix 280 ml of water with 1 kg of Raysin powder. This mixing ratio corresponds to 1 part water to 3.5 parts powder and makes about 650 ml of casting compound. Stir the mixture thoroughly until there are no more lumps.
Then carefully pour the finished casting compound into your chosen moulds. To avoid air bubbles, tap the filled moulds gently on the surface several times. This will cause the trapped air bubbles to rise to the surface and burst, giving you a uniform result. After about an hour, you will have a sufficiently hardened mass so that you can carefully remove the figures from the moulds. Then leave the mouldings to dry at room temperature so that they harden completely. For a smooth finish, sand the edges with fine sandpaper. Once you have removed all the casting moulds, it is important to clean them thoroughly. This will ensure that you can continue to use them for future projects.
Now the creative part begins: paint the gnomes to your liking with acrylic paint to give them personality and character. To further embellish your arrangement, decorate the fir trees and gnomes in a plate with decorative snow and glitter. This will create glittering, wintry accents. For the crowning touch, add extra charm to your decorative ensemble with bows made from satin ribbon at the lace of the fir trees. For the bow, glue two rings of different diameters on top of each other and secure them with a piece in the centre.
