Christmas time is so beautiful with craft afternoons and beautiful stars. Our stars are very easy to make and look lovely on a Christmas tree, as gift tags and also as decorations in branches and flower arrangements.
This is how the stars are made:

Cut out 7 x 30 cm long x 4 cm wide strips for each star. These are folded once in the middle. Then roll them as shown in the photo. It is important that the outer lace of both ends are on top of each other. Cut off the ends that are now sticking out at the sides. This creates the tip. Glue the open lace with handicraft glue .

Now glue all 7 parts together to form a star. The lace must rest on the table. The glue is applied and held together with a clamp until it dries. The clips are then removed and a hole is punched in one tip, through which the hanging ribbon is threaded.
